Kiren Rijiju to Present Chadar at Ajmer Sharif Dargah on January 4 on Behalf of PM Modi

Jaipur, January 1 (NationPress) The Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, is set to present the Chadar from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Dargah Sharif of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on January 4 (Saturday).
This annual tradition takes place during the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, where the Prime Minister's chadar is ceremoniously offered at the Dargah. Typically, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs represents the Prime Minister at this momentous event.
Rijiju is expected to land at Jaipur airport at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday and will proceed to Ajmer by road. The chadar offering ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Ajmer Dargah Sharif.
During his visit, Union Minister Rijiju will also inaugurate the web portal of Dargah Sharif and the 'Garib Nawaz' mobile application, aimed at enhancing accessibility for devotees. Furthermore, the Urs Manual, which outlines the operational details and arrangements for the Urs, will be unveiled.
The new web portal offers an extensive array of information about the life and teachings of Khwaja Saheb. It includes details on amenities provided by the Dargah Committee, such as 'langar' and 'deg' services, along with an option for online guesthouse reservations. A standout feature of the portal is the live darshan capability, allowing devotees around the globe to participate in live broadcasts of events at Dargah Sharif.
The 'Garib Nawaz' app, tailored for the devotees, will work in conjunction with the portal to offer accessible and user-friendly services.
The Urs Manual that Rijiju will release will encompass the historical context, customs, and detailed logistical arrangements for the Urs. This manual seeks to facilitate coordination among the Union Minority Affairs Ministry, Dargah Committee, and district administration, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
