Patna, April 22 (NationPress) The district of Jamui has filled Bihar with pride as three of its talented individuals -- Sanskriti Trivedi, Paras Kumar, and Isha Rani -- have successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, attaining remarkable ranks at the national level. Sanskriti Trivedi, achieving an All India Rank (AIR) of 17, stands as a beacon of excellence and perseverance.
Coming from a family that prioritized education, Sanskriti attributed her accomplishments to her parents, teachers, and mentors, stating, “With hard work, discipline, and faith, any dream can be realized.”
Her father, Anand Prakash Trivedi, and uncle, Dr Mithilesh Trivedi, shared heartfelt memories of her steadfast commitment from a young age.
On the other hand, Paras Kumar, a Program Officer (Establishment) in the Jamui Education Department, demonstrated that aspirations can be chased alongside a full-time job.
With an AIR of 269, Paras managed his responsibilities while preparing for the UPSC, studying late at night and taking minimal leave.
“Time management and consistency are crucial. I dedicate this achievement to my colleagues, teachers, and my support system,” stated Paras.
His success has motivated fellow educators and civil service hopefuls throughout the region, with the education community celebrating his accomplishments.
In addition, Isha Rani, daughter of senior advocate Prasiddha Narayan Singh, achieved an AIR of 384.
Originating from the rural village of Labhet, Isha advanced through sheer determination, attending DAV Jamui, completing her schooling at DPS Bokaro, and earning her law degree from Chanakya National Law University, Patna, before moving to Delhi for UPSC preparation.
“My journey illustrates that with dedication, even rural students can attain the highest achievements,” expressed Isha.
The final results of the UPSC 2025 were declared on Tuesday, with Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj leading the ranks.
A total of 1009 candidates have been selected, comprising 335 from the general category, 109 from EWS, 318 from OBC, 160 from SC, and 87 from ST.
This remarkable success story from Jamui exemplifies that through perseverance, discipline, and the right mindset, students from rural and small-town backgrounds can conquer India’s most challenging exams and become sources of inspiration for countless others.
