Hyderabad, Oct 14 (NationPress) On Tuesday, an additional eleven nominations were submitted for the upcoming by-election on November 11 in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency of Hyderabad, Telangana.
The returning officer, P. Sairam, confirmed that 11 candidates, including seven Independents, have officially filed their nominations.
This brings the total nominations filed over the past two days to 21.
Among those who submitted their nomination papers are M. Venkat Reddy from the Paata Party, Mohammed Mansoor Ali representing Anna YSR Congress, Jajula Bhaskar from the Sharamjeevi Party, and L. Chandra Shekhar from the All India Kisan Janatha Party.
The by-election process commenced after the Returning Officer issued the notification on Monday.
Interestingly, no candidates from national or regional parties submitted their nominations in the initial two days.
