Hyderabad, July 3 (NationPress) K. Doctors at Yashoda Hospitals in Somajiguda recommended hospitalization due to his complaints of general weakness.
The medical team stated that the former chief minister's condition is stable. Initial assessments indicated elevated blood sugar levels and reduced sodium levels.
All other vital signs are reported to be normal. Dr. M. V. Rao, a senior consultant and general physician, noted that KCR is under careful monitoring and is receiving treatment aimed at managing his diabetes and restoring sodium levels.
In response, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reached out to inquire about KCR's health and evaluate the care being provided. He consulted with medical professionals and urged them to ensure that KCR receives the highest standard of treatment.
The Chief Minister expressed his hopes for a swift recovery for KCR, wishing him the best as he aims to return to his public duties in good health.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar took to ‘X’ to express his concerns about KCR’s health, calling on the state government to guarantee the best possible care. He prayed for KCR’s quick recovery, looking forward to his return to public engagement.
Following the news of KCR's hospitalization, numerous BRS leaders flocked to Yashoda Hospital. However, reports surfaced that police attempted to detain several BRS leaders who arrived at the facility.
Specifically, police reportedly targeted BRS student wing BRSV president Gellu Srinivas, vice-president Tunga Balu, and other party officials.
BRS MLA and former minister Prashanth Reddy expressed strong discontent regarding the police action, questioning whether their actions were connected to the forthcoming public meetings led by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge scheduled for Friday.
