Hyderabad, March 12 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao launched a strong critique against Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy following comments made about his father, former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Wednesday.

“This mad dog has crossed every boundary of decency. I urge his family to consider taking him to a mental health facility promptly, otherwise, in his current state of frustration, he might start causing harm to those around him,” Rama Rao expressed on X, using the hashtag CheapMinister.

Rama Rao's statements were in response to remarks made by the Chief Minister during a city event.

The Chief Minister claimed that those discussing stature would end up on a stretcher, and if they persisted in their behavior, they would find themselves in a mortuary.

Revanth Reddy further commented that status is not inherent to individuals or castes but pertains to positions such as President, Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Minister, MLA, and MLC.

This statement appeared to be a reaction to Rama Rao's assertion on Tuesday that BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) would not attend the Assembly session because there was no one in Congress who could match his stature.

Revanth Reddy made his controversial comment during an event where he was distributing appointment letters to 1292 newly recruited junior lecturers and 240 polytechnic lecturers.

The Chief Minister claimed that his government had inherited significant debts and errors from the KCR administration, stating that they would need to pay Rs 6,500 crore every month to tackle the debts and interest on loans taken by the previous government.

“KCR presented ‘financial cancer’ as a legacy to the state. If this cancer worsens, does it imply that the state is facing bankruptcy? How long can they obscure the truth? Whenever I reveal the truth, the opposition raises a ruckus and targets me,” he remarked.

“The entire KCR family is spreading falsehoods as if it were a family package. I will not govern the state on the basis of lies. I will provide the truth and strive for the advancement of the state. Your support is essential to secure a prosperous future for the generations in Telangana,” he assured the public.
