Hyderabad, Aug 13 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao on Wednesday issued a challenge to Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other ministers to visit any village in the state and ask the citizens if they have fulfilled nearly all of the six guarantees.
Rao challenged that he would step back from politics if people did not drive them (the Deputy CM and other ministers) away for spreading falsehoods.
KTR, as the BRS leader is widely recognized, utilized 'X' to contest the assertion made by the Deputy Chief Minister during a television interview that the Congress government has delivered on most promises.
The former minister shared a video snippet of the Deputy CM’s interview and another clip from his campaign promises made during the 2023 elections.
“From grand pledges to glaring shortcomings! The twists surrounding Congress's Six Guarantees are hard to overlook. Recall Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka's dramatic plea to Telangana voters to ‘preserve the Congress Guarantee cards’ with every promise to be honored within 100 days? Fast forward to today—after nearly 2 years in power, he claims they have met most promises!!” posted KTR.
“Bhatti garu should step into any village in Telangana and convey the same to the public. Already, the public is driving your leaders away due to their deceit. They now see through the spin. I dare you, Bhatti garu and your cabinet ministers, to visit any village in Telangana and assert that you have fulfilled nearly all of the 6 guarantees... if people do not drive you away for peddling lies and false narratives, I will exit politics,” the BRS working president added.
In another post, KTR criticized the Congress government for the delays in completing the Kothwalguda Eco Park project.
“Thirteen months ago, I highlighted the sluggish progress of Kothwalguda Eco Park works. The BRS Government had completed most of this project about two years ago, yet it remains unopened today. The Revanth Reddy Government is only focused on politics and propaganda, not on public service,” he wrote.
“A world-class park designed for Hyderabadis lies in limbo due to the government’s inefficiency. Incompetence and indifference have become the trademarks of this Congress administration. A hopeless government. Hopeless governance,” he added.
KTR also discussed the IT Hubs in tier 2 towns across the state.
“I take pride that my state, Telangana, is pioneering for the rest of India. The KCR Government established IT Hubs in Tier 2 Towns: Nizamabad, Warangal, Siddipet, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, and Suryapet. All serve as one-stop centers for IT Services, Startup incubation, and Skill Development in Suburban/Rural India. The responsibility now lies with the government to optimize these centers,” he mentioned.
