Mumbai, July 3 (NationPress) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday urged that Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT), a subsidiary enterprise, must focus on prioritizing and finishing sustainable projects while taking into account upcoming challenges.

A comprehensive review of several initiatives by Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT), which operates under the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation of the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, was conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat, Minister of State Madhuri Misal, Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, and other officials were in attendance during the meeting.

The session assessed the status of various projects including the Thane Cluster Development Project, Software Technology and Data Centre Project, PM Awas Yojana under Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation, Slum Rehabilitation Project, Rooftop Solar Project for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Solar/Hybrid Projects in collaboration with NTPC Green, solar energy projects developed jointly with NTPC Green, NIRL, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), District Cooling System Project, establishment of a solar project at the National Cancer Institute in Nagpur, and the creation of an Integrated Command and Control Centre for Pune Municipal Corporation, alongside the redevelopment of Mahalaxmi Temple and its vicinity.

The Chief Minister emphasized the necessity for expediting slum rehabilitation projects. Instead of spreading efforts across all areas, he advised that skills should be honed in specific sectors, advocating for a focused approach in those domains.
