This incident comes shortly after a double homicide that occurred on April 17 at the Tara Apartments in Alaknanda, CR Park, where a father and son were discovered deceased, and another family member sustained injuries during a violent confrontation with a neighbor, officials reported.

The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Sood (62) and his son Karan Sood (27), both of whom were declared dead upon arrival at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket.

Initial investigations indicated that the tragedy arose from a longstanding feud related to prior disputes. Police stated that the accused, Asad, a neighbor of the victims, reportedly attacked them with a sharp weapon following a confrontation.

The suspect has since been apprehended by law enforcement.
