The Chief Minister announced an allocation of Rs 6.37 crore, which will be directly deposited into the accounts of all participating couples through the scheme.

“The Madhya Pradesh government has set a commendable precedent. No impoverished family should incur debt for their daughter's wedding; the government sponsors such marriages under the Kanyadan Yojana,” Sharma added.
