Massive Roadshow in Vizag Led by PM Modi, CM Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan

Visakhapatnam, Jan 8 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, participated in a grand roadshow here on Thursday evening.

The trio was seen in an open-top, flower-adorned vehicle, enthusiastically waving to the crowds gathered on both sides of the road. The roadshow kicked off at the Venkatadri Vantillu restaurant area in Siripuram Junction and culminated at the Andhra University Engineering College grounds, where the Prime Minister is set to address the public and inaugurate various developmental initiatives.

Many individuals, who had been patiently waiting for hours, erupted in cheers as the leaders acknowledged them. Numerous spectators showered petals towards the vehicle while security personnel maintained strict oversight of the gathering.

BJP MP and party's state president D. Purandeswari was also spotted behind the Prime Minister during the approximately 1.5 km roadshow. Flags representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena, and BJP adorned the route. All three coalition partners managed to rally a significant number of supporters from various regions of north Andhra. Cultural performances showcasing the heritage of north Andhra were also held during the event.

Prior to the roadshow, Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, the Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister, and senior officials extended a warm reception to the Prime Minister upon his arrival. This marks his first visit to Andhra Pradesh since the TDP-led NDA assumed power in the state, where he is set to virtually inaugurate several key projects aimed at fostering sustainable progress and infrastructure enhancement, especially focusing on North Andhra Pradesh.

He will unveil and lay the groundwork for projects valued at over Rs 2 lakh crore. This visit marks Narendra Modi's second trip to Andhra Pradesh in his third term as Prime Minister. In June of the previous year, he attended the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet in Vijayawada. The Prime Minister was initially scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on November 29; however, the event was postponed due to cyclone warnings.
