"These senior officials of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir are assigned to work closely with their counterparts in the respective State Governments. Their objective is to guarantee the safety, dignity, and welfare of J&K residents who may be experiencing distress, anxiety, or insecurity due to recent events," stated the Chief Minister in a post on the CMO's handle on X.
"To instill a feeling of security among our students and businessmen currently in other states, I have dispatched my Cabinet Ministers to various cities across the nation. The aim of these trips is to coordinate with the respective State Governments and ensure the safety and welfare of J&K residents," Omar Abdullah mentioned in the posts.

This action was prompted by alleged harassment incidents involving individuals from J&K in other parts of India.
In relation to the concerns raised by his National Conference spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar regarding the alleged harassment, Omar Abdullah stated on Thursday via X: "The J&K government is communicating with the governments of the states where these reports are coming from. I am also in contact with my counterpart Chief Ministers in these states & have requested them to take extra precautions."
Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, who visited the Kashmir Valley on Friday, also highlighted the same issue.
"Some individuals are attacking my brothers and sisters from Kashmir in the rest of the country," he informed the media.
"It is crucial for all of us to unite against terrorism. The terrorists aim to divide society by inciting conflict among brothers," he warned.
