New Delhi, Feb 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a bilateral dialogue with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic during the India AI Impact Summit 2026 on Wednesday. The meeting took place as part of the event's agenda aimed at fostering international collaboration.

Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, shared insights on social media platform X, noting that the leaders' discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations.

“Prime Minister Modi met with President Vucic of Serbia during the AI Impact Summit today,” he stated.

As per the MEA, the discussions included strategies to boost cooperation across various sectors, such as trade and investment, artificial intelligence, fintech, education, agriculture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.

The leaders also shared perspectives on pressing regional and global matters of shared concern, reaffirming the enduring friendship between India and Serbia, rooted in strong people-to-people connections.

This recent high-level engagement is anticipated to enhance the strategic and economic partnership between the two nations.

The five-day summit has attracted representatives from over 110 countries and 30 international organizations, including around 20 Heads of State or Government and nearly 45 ministers.

The aim of the event is to align AI initiatives with India’s vision of Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya (welfare for all, happiness for all) and the broader global principle of AI for Humanity.
