Hyderabad, July 4 (NationPress) AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for visiting 42 countries while neglecting Manipur, where people are suffering and dying. He expressed deep concern over the Prime Minister's inaction in Manipur and his silence regarding US President Donald Trump’s claim of halting the conflict between India and Pakistan.
Kharge challenged Modi on why he has not taken action to reclaim Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and why military operations against Pakistan have ceased despite previous assertive claims.
Speaking to Congress village unit leaders at the LB Stadium in Telangana, Kharge stated, “The Prime Minister has traveled extensively but has not visited Manipur, where there are cries for help amid ongoing violence and rapes.”
He emphasized the significance of Manipur within the nation and noted that even Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi had made a visit to the troubled state.
