Last year, the campaign spanned from June 5 to June 16. The Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan will encompass various activities aimed at conserving water, including revitalizing water sources and promoting tree planting, while also raising public awareness about water conservation in every village.
Initiatives will promote rainwater harvesting, with drinking water stalls set up at significant rural and urban crossroads. Schools will play a crucial role, implementing special programs to educate children on water conservation throughout the summer.
Moreover, drinking water tanks within schools will undergo thorough cleaning to ensure children's safety.
