Will MP Government Showcase 'PM Mitra Park' in New Delhi Tomorrow?

Bhopal, Sep 2 (NationPress) Emphasizing the significant upcoming initiative 'PM MITRA Park' in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, the state government is set to conduct a roadshow in New Delhi this Wednesday.

This decision was made during a cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, as confirmed by Urban Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya on Tuesday.

"The establishment of PM MITRA Park in Dhar district is poised to rejuvenate the cotton and textile sector in Madhya Pradesh. The roadshow will see participation from Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh and various representatives from both domestic and international markets," Minister Vijayavargiya stated.

The Minister remarked that, historically, the textile and cotton industries in Madhya Pradesh had global recognition, but they have faced substantial challenges in recent years.

"Regions like Ujjain, Indore, Gwalior, and others have experienced a downturn in the textile industry, leading to the closure of many businesses and affecting the livelihoods of countless workers. However, the PM Mitra Park represents a significant opportunity for the state," added Vijayavargiya.

In addition to the roadshow, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will engage in an interactive session focusing on investment prospects within the 'PM MITRA Park' on Wednesday.

This event aims to bring together investors and policymakers from the textile industry to discuss potential investment avenues in Madhya Pradesh.

During this occasion, Chief Minister Yadav will conduct one-on-one meetings with investors to provide insights into the state's infrastructure, policy support, and emerging opportunities.

The Chief Minister will engage with investors and industrialists on proposals and prospects for investment in the textile sector, while also showcasing Madhya Pradesh's strengths as a growing textile hub.

Noteworthy is the fact that the proposed 'PM MITRA' Park is being developed as a comprehensive hub featuring world-class amenities for the modern textile industry.

The state government anticipates that this development will elevate the textile sector significantly, serving as a foundation for large-scale investment and job creation.

Previously, Chief Minister Yadav mentioned that the project is expected to create three lakh direct and indirect jobs, while also incorporating Dhar's Badnawar tehsil into the Indore Metropolitan City Area, thus gaining access to metropolitan facilities.

The park, spanning 2,100 acres, is projected to attract substantial investment and generate numerous employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, as highlighted by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

The PM MITRA Park will include various modern facilities, such as a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar energy facility, and plug-and-play Built-To-Suit (BTS) units.

Moreover, residential complexes will be constructed for workers, ensuring comprehensive infrastructure for the project's workforce. Construction is expected to be completed within 14 months.

The 'PM Mitra Park' will be situated in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, in Dhar district. This strategically located site is roughly 110 km from Indore, 85 km from the Pithampur industrial cluster, and 50 km from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via Ratlam. The nearest port, Hazira, is located 452 km away.
