Kolkata, April 19 (NationPress) As the final phase of campaigning intensifies ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal on April 23, BJP President Nitin Nabin has intensified his critique of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress government. He asserted that the Chief Minister's recent court appearance was aimed at advocating for Bangladeshi infiltrators, rather than seeking justice for the women who have faced humiliation in the state.

Nabin made these comments during an election rally in Raiganj on Sunday.

In an interview with IANS, the BJP leader noted that the residents of West Bengal are gearing up to challenge the ruling Trinamool Congress government.

"The struggles faced by the people over the past five years have mobilized them to take to the streets and contest this election. The sentiment is strong to oust the current Trinamool Congress administration," Nabin stated.

The BJP President highlighted Chief Minister Banerjee's appearance in the Supreme Court concerning the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state.

"Women in the state have been subjected to insults and crimes. Yet, she (Mamata Banerjee) chose not to go to court for their justice. Instead, her government was indifferent while women endured such humiliation, but she appeared in court for the benefit of Bangladeshi infiltrators," Nabin criticized.

He further accused the Chief Minister of displaying hypocrisy.

"The public is aware of Mamata Didi's duplicity. They will undoubtedly respond accordingly," Nabin emphasized.

He also condemned the Trinamool Congress for opposing the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill.

Nabin remarked, "The resistance by Trinamool Congress MPs against women's reservation in Parliament indicates that even with a female Chief Minister, they have not prioritized women's respect."

He claimed that Mamata Banerjee and her party have stripped women of their rights.

Expressing confidence in women voters, the BJP President said, "This time, women will deliver a strong message by voting Mamata Banerjee out of power."

He added that Bangladeshi infiltrators are apprehensive about the BJP's rise.

"No matter who the infiltrators are, even if they are concealed within the Trinamool, they fear that the BJP will bring about their elimination and deportation once in power," Nabin stated.

Mentioning the substantial turnout at BJP rallies, Nabin concluded, "The moment has arrived to teach Mamata Didi a lesson. This is a fight of now or never."
