New Temple Inspired by Ram Mandir to be Built in the United States

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 15 (NationPress) A temple inspired by Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir is set to be constructed in the U.S. by the Swami Satyananda Saraswati Foundation in Pearland, Houston, aimed at serving the global Hindu community.

As part of the Kerala Hindus of North America conference, the foundation plans to conduct a Balalaya Pratishta ceremony at a significant and divine site on November 23, 2025.

The submission of key temple components to local authorities is already underway. The initial phase of construction is anticipated to be finalized by November 24, 2026.

This phase will encompass a large ashram, a Hanuman Pratishta modeled after the Ayodhya Temple, alongside other deity installations and family temple concepts.

By November 24, 2027, a global financial institution will be established to advocate for Sanatan Dharma and fortify Hindus around the globe.

Moreover, the Sanatan Hindu University will be founded, focusing on the integration of Vedic knowledge with modern sciences.

The project coordinator, Ranjith Pillai, stated that this initiative aims to create an official connection between the new temple and family temples.

The new temple will be strategically positioned facing the renowned Sri Meenakshi Temple.

Spanning five acres, the temple is designed to symbolize world peace.

A unique opportunity has been provided for devotees to bring a handful of soil from their family temples or local deities’ temples in Kerala to incorporate into the new temple site.

The official announcement regarding the temple's construction was made during a ceremony led by Atukal Thantri Vasudev Bhattathiri.

Notable attendees included former Union Ministers Rajeev Chandrasekhar and V. Muraleedharan, former Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan, SNDP Yogam Vice President Tushar Vellapally, Ayyappa Sevasangham President M. Sangeeth Kumar, Swami Krishnanandagiri from Mumbai’s Ramagiri Ashram, and Kerala Hindus of North America President Nisha Pillai.

The organisers emphasized that devotees from Kerala’s family temples and local deities’ temples have a rare chance to bring a handful of soil and integrate it into the new temple land.

According to Ranjith Pillai, this initiative aims to create a formal connection between the new temple and their family temples.

The project recognizes the profound spiritual bond between families and the deities they have traditionally worshipped.

The organisers asserted that honoring the ceremonial traditions of these family deities ensures spiritual protection.

Through the collection of divine soil from family temples globally, the project aspires to manifest the enduring connection to tradition, as stated by Ranjith Pillai.

This temple will serve as a holistic initiative that spiritually connects Hindu homes with Ayodhya.

The upcoming temple, poised to become a beacon of world peace, will cater to the spiritual needs of the American Hindu community while exemplifying cultural unity and engagement.

The foundation's primary objective is to cultivate a world filled with prosperity and peace by merging spiritual strength, financial stability, and Vedic wisdom.

The project strives to foster spiritual unity, preserve cultural heritage, and empower the global Hindu community.

Foundation representatives noted that many individuals have expressed enthusiasm for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
