Numerous Families in Shahdol, MP, Receive Pucca Homes Under PMAY, Express Gratitude to PM Modi

Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh), Dec 17 (NationPress) The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a significant initiative by the Modi administration, has become a lifeline for the underprivileged and marginalized communities. In Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, numerous families have successfully obtained pucca houses constructed under this scheme. Several beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to PM Modi while speaking to IANS.
One beneficiary, Sunita Sondhia, conveyed her thanks to PM Modi, stating, "Thanks to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, my living conditions have drastically improved. Previously, my house was in poor shape, causing me numerous difficulties, but now, thanks to this initiative, I am enjoying a much better environment."
She added, "I learned about this program from my local councillor and believe it serves the public's best interests. I am grateful to PM Modi for this opportunity."
Another beneficiary, Manoj Gaikwad, shared, "I discovered the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana through television. After availing myself of the benefits, my kutcha house has now transformed into a pucca house. I owe my thanks to PM Modi for enabling poor families to access better living conditions. In the past, such schemes were nonexistent, leading to many challenges."
A third beneficiary, Kirtisagar Vanskar, praised PM Modi, saying, "Thanks to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, I have secured a pucca house. The application process was straightforward, and with government assistance, our home has become more robust. I truly believe PM Modi has the public's best interests at heart."
The Chief Municipal Officer of Shahdol Nagar Palika Parishad, Akshat Budela, discussed the scheme, noting, "It has been implemented in three distinct phases, benefiting approximately 3,200 families in the city. Currently, about 80 percent of these homes are completed, and we are striving to extend the scheme's benefits to the remaining families by year-end."
"Shahdol's population is around 15,000-16,000, and over 20 percent of residents have received housing. Many families have improved their quality of life through this scheme," he informed IANS.
