Jammu, April 28 (NationPress) For the fourth consecutive day on Monday, the Pakistan Army engaged in unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, according to the Indian Army. The defense spokesperson stated, “During the night of April 27-28, 2025, posts of the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked small arms fire across the LoC in areas opposite Kupwara and Poonch districts. Our troops responded quickly and effectively.”
This marks the fourth ongoing violation of the ceasefire by Pakistan along the LoC. On the night of April 25-26, multiple posts of the Pakistan Army conducted unprovoked small arms fire throughout the Line of Control in Kashmir, to which Indian forces appropriately responded.
