PM Modi highlighted that Veer Bal Diwas teaches us that regardless of how challenging the situation may be, nothing surpasses the nation and its interests. He stated, "Every action taken for the country is an act of bravery, and every child and youth dedicated to the nation is a Veer Balak."
This year’s Veer Bal Diwas is particularly significant as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Indian Republic and our Constitution, the Prime Minister remarked.
He stressed that in this 75th year of the Indian Constitution, every citizen draws inspiration from the courageous Sahibzades to strive for the unity and integrity of the nation.
“Veer Bal Diwas fills us with inspiration and encourages us to set new goals,” the Prime Minister commented.
Pointing out that every generation offers the youth the chance to alter their nation’s destiny, PM Modi underscored that during the freedom struggle, Indian youth dismantled foreign domination to achieve their aspirations, and today, their aim is to create a developed India.
Veer Baal Diwas is a nationwide observance celebrating children as the cornerstone of India’s future. During the event, PM Modi also introduced the ‘Suposhit Gram Panchayat Abhiyan’. This initiative aims to enhance nutritional outcomes and well-being by strengthening the implementation of nutrition-related services and ensuring active community participation.
