PM Modi Enjoys Screening of 'The Sabarmati Report' with NDA Parliamentarians, Praises Creators

New Delhi, Dec 2 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, a film focusing on the 2002 Godhra train burning, within the Parliament Library building on Monday.
The images of PM Modi viewing the film amongst fellow Parliamentarians sparked significant discussion on social media, with numerous users sharing their thoughts.
Following the screening of the film that depicts the Godhra train tragedy, the Prime Minister expressed his approval of the filmmakers and praised their dedication.
“Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of 'The Sabarmati Report.' I commend the makers of the film for their effort,” PM Modi shared on X.
Vikrant Massey, the film's lead actor, referred to this experience as the ‘pinnacle of his career’.
“I watched the film with the Prime Minister, all Cabinet ministers, and several MPs. It was an incredibly special experience. I feel elated. This is the pinnacle of my career,” Massey remarked to the media after the screening.
Earlier, PM Modi, along with his Cabinet members and fellow National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs, arrived at the Balayogi Auditorium at 4 PM for the special film screening.
Last week, the Prime Minister praised the film for ‘uncovering the truth’ behind the Godhra train incident that resulted in the deaths of 59 individuals, including women and children.
"It is commendable that this truth is emerging, and in a manner accessible to the general public. A fabricated narrative can only exist for a short time. Ultimately, the facts will always surface,” PM Modi stated while lauding the film, which features Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra.
The film has been made tax-exempt in various BJP-governed states, including Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Haryana, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
Numerous BJP Chief Ministers, such as Yogi Adityanath and Nayab Singh Saini, have already viewed the film and commended the filmmakers for revealing the stark reality of the Godhra incident and ‘exposing’ those who construct narratives for political gain.
