PM Modi Unveils Rs 46,000 Crore Initiatives in Rajasthan, Beneficiaries Commend Central Welfare Programs

Jaipur, Dec 17 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ program on Tuesday, celebrating the first anniversary of the Rajasthan government. He inaugurated and laid the foundation for 24 projects in sectors such as Energy, Roads, Railways, and Water, which collectively are worth over Rs 46,300 crore.

While addressing the audience in Jaipur, PM Modi discussed the ERCP project and its significance in alleviating the water scarcity issue in the state, along with various initiatives such as Bima Sakhi Yojana and solar power projects.

Numerous women beneficiaries of the government’s welfare schemes shared their experiences with IANS, highlighting how these initiatives have significantly transformed their lives. They expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for implementing policies that favor the underprivileged.

Santra Devi, who attended the event to hear PM Modi’s address, stated, “The Prime Minister is doing remarkable work for the impoverished. Our lives have improved tremendously. Previously, we cooked with wood; now, we have access to gas stoves and cylinders thanks to the Ujjwala Yojana.”

Another beneficiary, Mukra Kanwar, remarked, “Our circumstances have enhanced; we now have gas access, bank accounts, and more. The Lakhpati Didi scheme is empowering women to step out of their homes, while the RGAVP scheme offers employment to women.”

Mira Kanwar praised the Modi administration, saying, “He is initiating many schemes that directly benefit women. Today, women are becoming empowered and are increasingly stepping out of their homes.”

Suman Kanwar mentioned, “We have access to loans at lower interest rates, and there are job opportunities for women. The Lakhpati Didi and Drone Didi initiatives are promoting women’s empowerment.”

“Earlier, we used to cook food over wood fires. Women are pleased with the Modi government due to its policies aimed at empowering women. Many women have moved away from cooking with wood, and now they can secure loans at low interest through the Didi Mahila Nidhi Bank Yojana,” she added.

A beneficiary named Swati commented, “Initiatives like the Drone Didi and Bank Nidhi Scheme have significantly improved employment opportunities for women. Our lives have seen improvement.”

Hemlata shared, “Thanks to the Jan Dhan Yojana, our bank accounts have been established, and programs like Drone Didi and Lakhpati Didis are enhancing women’s conditions.”

A woman named Batasi stated, “We are benefiting from schemes like food security. Food grains are provided through the Food Security Scheme, widows receive pensions, assistance is given to the disabled, and widows benefit from the Palanhar Scheme.
