As the Prime Minister's convoy cruised through the streets, a massive crowd gathered along the roadside, enthusiastically chanting “Modi-Modi” and “Jai Shree Ram” slogans.

At the beginning of the event, the Prime Minister was spotted sitting in the front seat of his vehicle, next to the driver, waving at the supporters.

Later, he leaned out of the vehicle's window, acknowledging the crowd, which included many holding a replica of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) symbol, the “Lotus.”

His direct engagement with the crowd amplified their excitement, causing their chants to grow even louder.

Raju Bista, the BJP’s two-time Lok Sabha representative from the Darjeeling constituency, shared a video of the road show on social media, remarking that the crowd's enthusiasm showcased that PM Narendra Modi is among the most admired global leaders.

He noted that in India, especially within the Darjeeling hills, the Terai, and the Dooars, Modi is viewed as a protective figure.

“In Siliguri today, thousands gathered to greet him in our picturesque region. He graciously acknowledged the people in person. It's truly remarkable to see such affection and respect for our beloved Prime Minister, with him reciprocating that warmth by spontaneously meeting the crowd,” Bista expressed.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister held three campaign rallies: the first in Katwa (East Burdwan district), the second in Jangipur (Murshidabad district), and the third in Kushmandi (South Dinajpur district).
