Bhuj, Feb 27 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Kutch on February 28. Her itinerary includes a trip to the Smritivan Museum and Memorial at 3 PM, followed by a visit to Dhordo. While in Dhordo, she will interact with local artisans at the Rann Utsav Tent City.

To ensure security, the area has been designated a No Drone Fly Zone.

During her time there, President Murmu will also visit local craft stalls before enjoying the sunset at the White Rann. Later, she will be the chief guest at a cultural event hosted by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation, where she will witness various artistic performances.

The following day, on March 1, at 10:30 AM, she will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dholavira. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, she will depart from Bhuj back to Delhi.

To facilitate smooth operations, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Kutch District Minister-in-Charge Praful Pansheriya will be present during her visit.

In light of the President's visit, the entire Dhordo area in Bhuj taluka and Dholavira in Bhachau taluka has been declared a “no fly zone” from February 28 to March 1.

This restriction prohibits the operation of drones (UAVs) and any aerial electronic devices in these specified regions.

President Droupadi Murmu began her four-day journey to Gujarat on February 26.

On February 27, she visited the Ekta Skill Development Centre at Kevadia and attended the 44th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
