Priyanka Gandhi Ready to Serve the Residents of Wayanad

Kozhikode, Nov 30 (NationPress) AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who took her oath as the Wayanad MP on Thursday, arrived here on Saturday.
This marks her inaugural visit to the constituency following her impressive victory in the November 13 bye-election.
Accompanied by her brother, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, she expressed her delight at being back during a media interaction at the Kozhikode airport.
“I am truly excited to be back and am prepared to commence work for the people of Wayanad to assist them in achieving a better quality of life,” stated Priyanka Gandhi.
The Congress MP has a busy schedule for the day that includes public meetings at Mukkam in the Thiruvambadi Assembly constituency of Kozhikode district, followed by receptions at Karulai in Nilambur, Wandoor, and Edavanna in Eranad at 2:15 P.M., 3:30 P.M., and 4:30 P.M. respectively.
Priyanka Gandhi secured her electoral win in the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll with a remarkable margin of 410,931 votes.
Interestingly, she surpassed the victory margin of 360,000 votes achieved by her brother Rahul Gandhi in the April Lok Sabha elections, although it fell short of his margin of 430,000 votes from the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
This bypoll was necessitated after Rahul Gandhi vacated the seat earlier this year.
Throughout the campaign, the central question was whether Priyanka Gandhi could exceed her brother's record-breaking margin.
Priyanka Gandhi's triumph signifies a crucial milestone in her political journey, occurring nearly 20 years after she first campaigned for her mother, Sonia Gandhi, in Raebareli and her brother in Amethi during the 2004 Lok Sabha elections.
Her debut as an elected representative is perceived as a significant move towards strengthening the Congress' footprint in Kerala and rejuvenating the party's prospects on a national scale.
