Rajasthan Governor Encourages Youth to Become Job Creators Instead of Job Seekers

Jaipur, Dec 7 (NationPress) Governor Haribhau Bagade on Saturday urged that young graduates from universities should aspire to be job creators rather than simply seeking jobs.
He remarked that universities ought to function as knowledge hubs where students not only delve into textbooks but also concentrate on enhancing their intellectual prowess and nurturing entrepreneurship.
Bagade shared these insights during the ninth convocation ceremony of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule University. He stressed that education is a lifelong journey, with true learning steering individuals towards a more fulfilling life.
Reflecting on the impactful legacy of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in social welfare and women's education, the Governor noted that Phule was a visionary ahead of his era.
During a period when women’s education was often overlooked, Phule established the first girls' school and educated his wife, who emerged as the nation’s first female teacher.
The Governor encouraged society to advance education by embracing the principles advocated by Jyotiba Phule.
He also highlighted the necessity of collaboration between the private and public sectors to enhance education.
He underlined that ethics and values must be central to education, with the legacies of revered personalities serving as ongoing inspiration.
Students were urged to leverage their education for the progress of the nation.
Discussing the new education policy of the country, Bagade pointed out its commitment to delivering quality education to all segments of society, free from discrimination.
He called for the development of students' cognitive abilities while keeping the principle of ‘Nation First’ in focus.
During the event, the Governor conferred degrees and medals to the graduates. University Chancellor Nirmal Panwar provided a comprehensive overview of the institution's accomplishments and future aspirations.
