Reiterating Falsehoods Won’t Make Them True: Hardeep Puri Critiques Kejriwal on Rohingya Allegations

New Delhi, Dec 30 (NationPress) Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri responded sharply to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal's allegations regarding the Rohingya settlement in the capital, emphasizing that repeating the same lies will not alter the truth.

In a direct counter to Kejriwal's accusations about the Rohingya settlement occurring with the supposed support of the Centre, the Union Minister pointed out that it was actually AAP and its MLA who facilitated their settlement in Delhi and assisted in obtaining their voter cards.

“Arvind Kejriwal's MLA facilitated their settlement in Delhi and issued their voter cards while providing them with free rations, water, and electricity, in addition to giving each individual Rs 10,000. The entire nation knows which party the Rohingyas are inclined to vote for,” he stated.

Hardeep Puri’s statements came in response to Kejriwal’s earlier accusations directed at the Centre, claiming that both the Union Minister and HM Amit Shah possess all the relevant data on the Rohingya settlements and also demanded their ‘arrest’.

Completely rejecting these claims, Hardeep Puri asserted that Kejriwal's ongoing support for Rohingya individuals jeopardizes the nation’s security.

“Even snow doesn’t disappear in the warmth of lies; the truth remains as solid as a rock! Continuously repeating the same lie will not transform it into truth... it will only serve to prove that you are a liar repeatedly. The reality is that, to date, no EWS flat has been allocated to any Rohingya anywhere,” he added.

He also noted that the misinformation the AAP was spreading regarding the Centre was clarified by his ministry on the same day.

“No EWS flat has been allocated to any Rohingya anywhere,” he declared in a post on X.

In a forthright post on X, Hardeep Puri denounced the ‘shameless’ efforts by the AAP administration and its members to mislead the populace of Delhi.

“This is the epitome of low-level politics! Shame on you, stop lying!” he expressed.

In a previous statement, the Union Minister questioned Kejriwal and his party’s allegations that the BJP was responsible for bringing Rohingyas to Delhi, asking, “Do you believe they would ever vote for the BJP under any circumstances?”
