Jaipur, April 26 (NationPress) The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) initiated an indefinite dharna at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur on Saturday, demanding the cancellation of the Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment process.

RLP President and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal spearheaded the protest, marching on foot from his residence in Jalupura to Shaheed Smarak with his supporters.

Speaking to the media, MP Beniwal expressed grave concerns regarding various issues, particularly the re-verification of documents for PTI exam candidates. He leveled several accusations against the Bhajan Lal government and underscored alleged corruption within the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Beniwal referenced Padma Chaudhary, a candidate who achieved the 24th rank in the RAS 2018 exam.

He claimed that even after leaving question number 34 of her English paper blank in the RAS Mains exam, Chaudhary was initially granted zero marks, which were later suspiciously raised to seven. This manipulation, he asserted, could only occur through collusion among RPSC officials, coaching mafias, and powerful individuals.

Beniwal also noted that Chaudhary scored 72 marks in the interview phase—a remarkably high score—and accused a prominent coaching institute, Spring Board, of portraying her as a success story.

The institute allegedly even released a Hindi book focusing solely on her Hindi paper, intentionally omitting her English paper, where irregularities were apparent.

Demanding prompt action, MP Beniwal took to his X handle, urging Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the Governor to dissolve and reorganize the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, initiate a CBI investigation into the alleged discrepancies, suspend Padma Chaudhary, arrest the implicated RPSC officials, and disclose the copies of all candidates from that recruitment cycle.

Later in the evening, the RLP organized a candle march led by MP Beniwal to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

During the march, Beniwal reiterated the call to end terrorism and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take decisive action to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), stressing that "now is the time to act, not just deliver speeches."
