Sachin Pilot Seeks Clarity from Rajasthan Administration on Recruitment Tests

Jaipur, Jan 10 (NationPress) Congress General Secretary and former Union Minister Sachin Pilot, on Thursday, while criticizing the Bhajan Lal Sharma-led BJP administration in Rajasthan, called for transparency on the state's approach to recruitment examinations.
Pilot further accused the state administration of fostering confusion and uncertainty.
"While Ministers hint at cancelling exams, the government informs the court that it cannot proceed with cancellation. This indecisiveness is causing immense distress to the public. The government must cease the delays and communicate its resolutions to the people," he stated.
He insisted that there should be a clear and decisive policy.
The Rajasthan government on Thursday replied in the High Court, asserting that it cannot annul the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination.
Speaking to the press at his residence, Pilot condemned the state government's performance over the previous year, indicating that its decisions have incited widespread public outrage.
He pointed out the recent annulment of districts formed in the state, which has further inflamed discontent among the populace.
"We will demand answers from the state government in the House regarding all these matters and will strongly represent the public's concerns," he remarked.
Referring to the situation of students, Pilot stated, "The future of young candidates who have taken the exams is at risk. The government's lack of clarity has jeopardized their ambitions."
He further asserted that the state government needs to address these grievances during the forthcoming Assembly session.
Pilot also highlighted delays in decisions concerning SI recruitment and other examinations, emphasizing that the prolonged uncertainty and indecision are causing confusion and frustration among the populace.
"Many power centers have surfaced within the government. Ministers say one thing, the government states another, and the public is caught in the midst," he added.
He urged the state government to clarify its position and provide a coherent policy to tackle these urgent issues.
