Mumbai, Jan 23 (NationPress) Maharashtra Minister of Ports and Fisheries and BJP leader Nitesh Rane has questioned the authenticity of the incident involving Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, pondering if he was genuinely stabbed with a knife or merely performing. Rane criticized Khan, labeling him as 'garbage'.
“Look, Bangladeshis have intruded into Saif Ali Khan's residence in Mumbai. Previously, these individuals would linger at street corners, but now they have begun to invade homes, possibly aiming to take him away. It’s good that garbage ought to be discarded. When he exited the hospital, I observed and doubted whether he was truly stabbed. The way he walked out appeared as if he was acting and dancing, which seems highly suspicious,” he remarked during a rally in Pune on Wednesday evening.
“However, there’s a pattern; whenever any Khan, be it Shah Rukh Khan or Saif Ali Khan, faces harm, people quickly react, yet when a Hindu actor suffers, no one steps up to speak,” he asserted. “What became of that Sushant Singh?” the Minister queried.
He continued, “Jitendra Awhad and Supriya Sule (NCP-SP) have remained silent, only showing concern for Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's son, and Nawab Malik. Have you ever witnessed them expressing worry for any Hindu artist? You (media) should take note of these issues.”
Rane’s remarks followed two days after Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam voiced astonishment at Saif Ali Khan's fitness upon his hospital exit without assistance.
Addressing the actor’s condition post-attack, Nirupam stated, "The doctors mentioned that the knife had penetrated 2.5 inches into Saif Ali Khan's back. It likely got lodged inside. The surgery lasted six continuous hours. This incident occurred on 16th January. Today is 21st January. So fit right after leaving the hospital? In just five days? Incredible!"
Khan underwent a five-hour surgery at the nearby Lilavati Hospital last week and was later moved to the ICU. A fragment of the knife was extracted from the actor's body. According to the doctor, the actor had sustained six wounds during the attack, with two being deep cuts. Fortunately, he avoided severe injuries.
