Patna, Aug 16 (NationPress) RJD Rajya Sabha MP and close associate of Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, on Saturday sharply criticized both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Accusing the Prime Minister of misleading citizens, Sanjay Yadav stated, “Initially, he implemented demonetization, then enforced a nationwide lockdown during the pandemic, and now he is engaging in a ‘vote ban’. PM Modi only reiterates Muslim-Muslim and Pakistan-Pakistan.”
Challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech, the RJD leader remarked that it demonstrated “a lack of confidence.” “The PM failed to address issues like unemployment, migration, and job creation. It was unclear whom he was addressing. He merely lauded the RSS,” he noted.
Yadav further accused the Prime Minister of shifting focus from essential matters.
“Over the past 11 years, no significant industry has been established in Bihar, and the government has no explanations for this,” he asserted.
Shifting his criticism towards CM Nitish, the RJD leader mocked the Chief Minister’s assertion of creating jobs for 50 lakh youth under the Saat Nishchay Part 2 initiative.
“If Nitish Kumar has genuinely employed 50 lakh individuals, he should publish the complete list of beneficiaries. This declaration is absurd. If the Prime Minister could not generate that many jobs, from where did the Chief Minister derive this number?” Sanjay Yadav questioned.
He also claimed that Nitish Kumar is out of touch with reality, stating, “The CM might not even be aware of who is tweeting from his X (Twitter) account.”
As the opposition’s ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ begins on Sunday, Sanjay Yadav mentioned that the march aims to educate citizens about their voting rights.
He added that while the government evades real issues, the opposition is concentrating on matters affecting everyday people.
“We discuss problems, and the government should also address these concerns,” Yadav insisted.
He said the Vote Adhikar Yatra, spearheaded by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, will traverse 23 districts of Bihar.
The opposition claims this is a campaign to reveal the BJP’s alleged involvement in voter list irregularities ahead of the state assembly elections.
