Guwahati, Jan 17 (NationPress) Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially introduced a mobile application tailored for the forthcoming investor summit ‘Advantage Assam’ in the state.

He also evaluated the status of preparations for this significant initiative by the state government.

"The Advantage Assam app is accessible on multiple platforms," the Chief Minister stated.

He urged the public to download this mobile application to stay informed about the upcoming event.

In the meantime, Minister Pijush Hazarika announced that the largest investors' and infrastructure summit in the North East, #AdvantageAssam2.0, is slated to take place in Guwahati on February 25-26, 2025.

"I participated in a preparatory meeting led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Dangoriya at Lok Sewa Bhawan today, where we discussed various summit aspects," added the minister.

Hazarika mentioned that this summit would open doors for unparalleled growth and investment prospects in Assam and the northeastern region. Cabinet members and senior officials were present during the meeting.

Previously, the Chief Minister expressed that the summit would attract more investments to the state, providing additional government employment and entrepreneurship support to the local population.

He highlighted that the event, scheduled for February 25 and 26, will feature the traditional Jhumur dance performed by the tea tribe communities.

"This summit serves as a platform to present Assam's rich heritage to an international audience while also drawing in investors," the Chief Minister remarked.

He noted that a magnificent Jhumur dance performance, involving over 7,500 dancers and artists, will be showcased during the event.

“It promises to be an extraordinary spectacle,” the Chief Minister declared.

He confirmed that preparations are progressing for this cultural occasion.

"Exemplary execution will be guaranteed via specialized training workshops, local constituency sessions, district-level performances, and final rehearsals in Guwahati," stated the Chief Minister.
