Guwahati, Jan 15 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced on Wednesday that the forthcoming investor summit - Advantage Assam 2.0 is poised to unite participants from various sectors to showcase the state's vibrant ecosystem.
In a post on X, he stated: "The upcoming #AdvantageAssam2 will unite stakeholders from diverse sectors to illuminate the finest aspects of Assam's industrial ecosystem.
The Chief Minister indicated that several crucial areas will be emphasized during the two-day summit.
“Areas of focus will include infrastructure development, electronics and semiconductors, aerospace and defence manufacturing, renewable energy and hydrocarbons, tourism, food and beverage, fragrance and flavours, and mobility and logistics—these sectors will receive significant attention at this Advantage Assam edition,” Sarma elaborated.
It's noteworthy that the grand investor summit - Advantage Assam is scheduled to take place in Guwahati this February.
Sarma highlighted that this summit is expected to attract additional investments into the state, along with providing enhanced government job opportunities and support for entrepreneurship.
According to Chief Minister Sarma, the event is set for February 25 and 26, and will feature the traditional Jhumur dance of the tea tribe clans.
