Our Semiconductor policy is unparalleled in the country -- In addition to the Centre's incentives for semiconductor industries, we are offering a 50 percent extra Production Linked Incentive along with comprehensive infrastructure and policy support."

The Chief Minister is targeting investments through the forthcoming summit 'Advantage Assam', which is scheduled for February 25 and 26.

Chief Minister Sarma mentioned that this summit aims to generate increased investments in the state.

Furthermore, he indicated that enhanced government job opportunities and support for entrepreneurship will be extended to the residents of the state.

The Chief Minister has traveled to South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, where he engaged with leading industry figures and encouraged them to invest in Assam.

According to Chief Minister Sarma, the event will showcase the traditional Jhumur dance of the tea tribe clans.

Chief Minister Sarma stated, "This summit serves as a platform to present Assam's rich traditions to a global audience while also attracting investors."

A remarkable Jhumur dance performance featuring over 7,500 dancers and artists will be part of the event, which the CM described as an extraordinary display.

Preparations for this cultural event are currently in progress.

The Chief Minister asserted, "Flawless execution will be guaranteed through master training workshops, constituency-level sessions, district-level performances, and final rehearsals in Guwahati."

The concert, planned for either day of the summit, is expected to leave a lasting impression on attendees.

This initiative follows Assam's recent achievement of setting a Guinness World Record for the largest Bihu dancing performance.

The objective of Advantage Assam 2.0, the second edition of the international investor summit since its inception in 2018, is to elevate infrastructure development and investments in the state.

The two-day event is projected to attract investors from across India and internationally, reinforcing Assam's position as a new investment destination in the country.
