Hyderabad, Dec 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, has expressed his heartfelt condolences regarding the passing of Shivraj Patil, a distinguished former Union Home Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, and an esteemed leader of the Congress party.
In his message of condolence, the Chief Minister conveyed his sorrow over the loss of Shivraj Patil.
He remarked that the passing of Shivraj Patil represents a significant void for both the nation and the Congress party, extending his sincere sympathies to the grieving family.
CM Revanth Reddy recounted that Shivraj Patil began his career as a local body representative, achieving the remarkable feat of being elected as an MP seven times, in addition to serving as Governor of Punjab.
The President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, conveyed his profound sorrow over the loss of the former Union Minister and prominent Congress figure Shivraj Patil.

Shivraj Patil passed away in his hometown of Latur, Maharashtra, on Friday morning. The 90-year-old leader died at his residence, ‘Devghar’, following a brief illness, as per family sources.
He is survived by his son, Shailesh Patil, daughter-in-law Archana, who is affiliated with the BJP, and two granddaughters.
