New Delhi, Jan 24 (NationPress) Pushpa Singh, the Congress candidate representing Mehrauli, expressed her strong belief in her party's impending success in the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections, highlighting the pressing necessity for development in the region.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Singh reassured the residents of Mehrauli that the Congress party is poised to usher in the essential changes that the area requires.
“The moment I submitted my nomination, the backing from my entire village was incredibly supportive,” Pushpa Singh stated.
“The community is excited to witness a candidate who is dedicated to the development of Mehrauli. For too long, this constituency has been longing for advancement, and the time for that transformation is now,” she added.
Singh pointed out the declining state of basic infrastructure in the locality, asserting, “Examine the streets, roads, and sewerage systems. If we can provide essential amenities like clean water, well-maintained roads, and effective sewerage, I will deem it a success. My chief focus will be to resolve these fundamental challenges first. If Mehrauli progresses, it will serve as a model for the entire Assembly.”
Illustrating her bond with the community, Singh remarked, “Every time I leave my residence, the community follows me. It feels as if I am not alone in my journey. The support is immense, and the yearning for transformation is evident. This time, the Congress will deliver genuine development, and I am resolute in spearheading that initiative.”
Singh also took the opportunity to affirm her integrity, stating, “The character of my competitors in this race has come under scrutiny. However, my family, my home, and my political dealings are unblemished. If anyone can highlight any blemish on my character, I will withdraw from politics. “On February 5th, I call upon all Mehrauli residents to vote for the Congress.
