Jaipur, Nov 5 (NationPress) The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative is progressing seamlessly throughout Rajasthan, with more than 30 lakh enumeration forms being distributed directly to homes by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in just two days since the campaign's initiation.

According to officials, Chittorgarh and Alwar districts have maintained their lead for two consecutive days thanks to their effective distribution methods.

Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan announced that the printing and distribution of new Enumeration Forms (EFs) for existing voters have commenced in 199 assembly constituencies, with all SIR-related activities proceeding according to plan.

Mahajan added that voter lists for all states have been uploaded to https://voters.eci.gov.in, which is also accessible via the Chief Electoral Officer's official website. If the names of family members such as parents or grandparents appear in previous SIR voter lists, genealogical mapping is being conducted based on verified familial relationships.

Currently, 84.98% of voters over 40 years old and 53.28% of voters 40 and younger have been successfully mapped with their family records, bringing the overall mapping coverage in Rajasthan to 68.17%.

These voters will only need to provide basic information on the enumeration form and will not be required to submit any additional supporting documents.

The top-performing districts in the mapping exercise include Barmer, Nagaur, Balotra, Jalore, and Dausa, while Jodhpur, Jaipur, Kota, Sriganganagar, and Ajmer have been encouraged to enhance their efforts.

Mahajan emphasized that mapping significantly simplifies the process for voters—those whose names correspond with any previous voter list in the country after the last SIR will not need to resubmit documents.

From November 4 to December 4, BLOs will deliver two-copy enumeration forms to every household, which will include pre-printed details like the voter's name, EPIC number, address, and voter list serial number.

Voters are required to check these details and add further information such as their father's or guardian's name, mother's name, spouse's name, and mobile number.

Mahajan encouraged all eligible voters to actively participate in creating a clean, accurate, and updated voter list by December 4, fulfilling their democratic duty by submitting completed enumeration forms along with a recent color photograph to their respective BLOs.
