The man who made the request reportedly drove his car into the motorcycle of the engineer, resulting in a fatal incident. The police have apprehended the suspect.
The victim has been identified as H.N. Sanjay, a 29-year-old resident of Vajarahalli in Bengaluru. The tragic encounter took place at Vasanthapura Cross along Kanakapura Road. The accused, identified as Prateek, 31, hails from Rajarajeshwari Nagar and is a manager at a private firm.
Authorities have reviewed CCTV footage of the incident and have filed a murder case against the accused.
On May 10, Sanjay was enjoying a cigarette on the roadside with his friend, Chetan Pujamath, during a brief work break.
