Patna, March 11 (NationPress) Following a shocking Rs 25 crore theft at the Tanishq showroom in Ara, the Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, along with his sister Rohini Acharya, launched a fierce critique of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding the worsening law and order situation in the state.

Tejashwi shared the CCTV footage of the robbery, sarcastically labeling it an "auspicious video" that highlights the state of law and order under Nitish Kumar's NDA administration.

“In broad daylight, 6-7 criminals stole jewellery worth ₹25 crore in a mere 17 minutes from a showroom situated just steps away from the SP's office and police station,” remarked Tejashwi Yadav.

“Countless crimes occur each month with government protection. Gunfire occurs indiscriminately. The tally of rape, murder, dacoity, theft, and chain-snatching incidents is unrecorded. The Chief Minister seems oblivious, and administrative chaos reigns,” he further stated on X.

“Business owners must now defend their lives and assets themselves, as it is foolish to expect any support from this corrupt, ineffective, and incompetent government,” he added.

Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, also took to social media to challenge Nitish Kumar’s governance.

“In the bustling district headquarters of Ara, jewellery worth ₹25 crore was taken from a showroom in broad daylight, without fear of the police. Did this occur before your administration? It did not,” Acharya stated.

She further criticized Nitish Kumar’s assertions of effective governance, saying: "Regardless of how much you and your media team attempt to present false narratives about law and order in Bihar, the reality is that the whole world acknowledges your governance has failed. You have become synonymous with a helpless, incompetent, and ineffective ruler.”

“Nitish Kumar, in your desperation to hold onto power, you have left Bihar vulnerable to criminals. Your police force has submitted to criminal elements. At this rate, it would not be shocking if audacious criminals entered the Chief Minister's residence, deemed the most secure location in the state, while you remain idle,” she asserted.

In the meantime, Bhojpur police apprehended two suspects linked to the robbery after a brief pursuit on Monday.

The suspects have been identified as Vishal Kumar Gupta, a resident of Dighwara in Saran district, and Kunal Kumar, from Sonpur in Saran district.

The police have recovered two bags containing the stolen jewellery, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining four suspects.
