Telangana Sets Benchmark in Job Creation, Asserts CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, stated on Sunday that the state has positioned itself as a benchmark for the nation in terms of employment opportunities.

He revealed that during the initial year of the Congress-led government, a total of 55,143 positions were filled across various governmental sectors, labeling this achievement as unprecedented in the nation.

The remarks were made during the distribution of financial aid to Civil Services aspirants as part of the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam initiative.

Among the beneficiaries, twenty students who successfully cleared the Civils Mains examinations received cheques amounting to Rs 1 lakh each.

Revanth Reddy highlighted that the establishment of Telangana was aimed at realizing the aspirations of the youth, particularly their quest for employment. He pointed out that even after the state's formation, the unemployed faced significant challenges due to a scarcity of job opportunities over the past decade.

The Chief Minister mentioned that Group 1 exams had been organized for the past 14 years. He assured that the People’s Government has overcome numerous obstacles to conduct these exams to fill 563 vacancies. The recruitment process for Group 1 roles is expected to conclude by March 31.

“The People’s Government took office during challenging times. My administration’s primary goal is to ensure a greater number of candidates from Telangana succeed in Civil Services exams,” he stated.

He noted that more students from a less developed state like Bihar are excelling in civil services nationwide. He attributed this success to the focused attention given in that state, leading to an increase in IAS and IPS officers.

Inspired by Bihar’s model, the Telangana government is providing Rs 1 lakh in financial aid through the Rajiv Civils Abhayahastam scheme, aiming to enhance the success rate of Civil Services aspirants from Telangana. He encouraged the aspirants to view this financial support as a motivating factor from the government.

He advised the candidates that those who commit themselves to hard work will reap the rewards. He expressed hope that all beneficiaries of the scheme would participate in interviews and secure positions in civil services.

Emphasizing that his government prioritizes the future of youth, he affirmed that it is taking comprehensive measures for recruitment as per the job calendar. The government is prepared to support candidates preparing for civil services in every possible way.

“Our aspiration is to reach a point where we can proudly declare that Telangana produces the highest number of candidates selected for civil services in the nation,” he concluded.
