Three Additional Suspects Detained Following Bomb Incident Near Clubs in Gurugram

Gurugram, Dec 13 (NationPress) A dedicated investigation unit (SIT) from the Gurugram Police has taken into custody three more individuals linked to the crude bomb attacks outside two clubs in Gurugram early on Tuesday, according to officials.
The suspects have been identified as Ankit (30) from Meerut, Vikas (28) from Sonipat, and Vinit Malik (27) from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, and they have been placed in police remand for six days.
Previously, police had already apprehended Sachin at the scene on the same day, recovering two crude bombs and weapons from him.
Infamous gangster Rohit Godara, affiliated with the Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs, has claimed responsibility for the bomb explosion near a club in Sector 29.
In a Facebook message on Thursday, Godara warned that the recent explosions were merely minor incidents and suggested their ability to carry out even larger attacks.
“Ram-Ram Jai Shri Ram to everyone, I, Rohit Godara, Bikaner, Goldy Brar, we have executed the bomb blasts outside two clubs in Chandigarh and two days ago in Gurugram Sector 29. Those gambling, hawala traders, and dance clubs profiting immensely must pay their dues. This is just a small demonstration. We are capable of a larger explosion that could obliterate such clubs. Do not perceive this as a warning; we act on our words. Those who exploit the poor and evade taxes will be held accountable,” the post stated.
Reportedly a supporter of the designated terrorist Goldy Brar, Sachin has been taken into police custody for seven days.
Following the incident, Vikas Arora, the Commissioner of Gurugram Police, visited the crime scene. The bomb disposal unit was also dispatched to the site, where the two live bombs retrieved from the suspects were successfully defused.
Damage was reported to a scooty and a board at the location, according to police.
A senior official, who wished to remain anonymous, indicated that valuable information was gathered during the interrogation of the suspects, revealing the potential involvement of additional individuals, who will be arrested shortly.
The Gurugram Police have urged the public to report any suspicious person or object immediately to control room numbers 112, 0124-22216010, and 124-2316100.
Recently, five hotels in Gurugram also received bomb threats through email, causing widespread panic across the establishments. The threatened hotels are situated in five distinct locations within the city.
