Three Arrested for Allegedly Murdering Man in Gurugram

Gurugram, Dec 12 (NationPress) The police in Gurugram have taken into custody three individuals for their alleged involvement in the strangulation death of a fellow employee using an electric wire at their rented place in Khoh village, as reported by law enforcement.
The deceased has been identified as Pushpender, a 25-year-old originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
Pushpender was employed at a private company situated in IMT Manesar.
The suspects have been named as Sarjan alias Ali, Ramanand alias Billu, and Ajit alias Binny, all of whom hail from Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh.
These suspects also worked at the same firm and shared living quarters with the victim, according to police reports.
On Wednesday morning, police received a report about a deceased individual in Khoh village.
The police team from the Sector-7 IMT Manesar police station promptly arrived at the scene to discover a body on the floor of a room.
The crime scene was assessed by the crime scene unit, along with fingerprint and forensic teams.
Meanwhile, the victim's sister, who was present at the scene, informed the police that her brother was employed at a company in Sector-3 IMT Manesar and resided in Khoh village.
She noted that three individuals, who also worked at the same company, lived with her brother.
"My brother had mentioned to me multiple times over the phone that his roommates would argue with him over trivial issues and had threatened his life. On Wednesday, my younger brother called to say that Pushpender was found dead in his room, with visible injury marks on his neck and head. His roommates killed him out of rivalry," the victim's sister relayed to the police.
Following her statement, a murder case was filed against the suspects at the IMT Manesar police station.
The police acted swiftly and apprehended the trio near the Power House IMT Manesar on Wednesday.
During interrogation, the suspects revealed that on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, the four men were drinking alcohol.
During this time, an argument erupted, leading to the deceased being verbally abused; subsequently, Ramanand and Ajit restrained Pushpender while Sarjan used an electric wire to strangle him, resulting in his death.
"The police have recovered the electric wire utilized in the murder from the suspects' possession. The accused are currently in police custody for ongoing investigations," stated Sandeep Kumar, spokesperson for the Gurugram police.
