Tragic Accident Claims Four Lives as Car Collides with Tree in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati, Dec 8 (NationPress) The excitement of acquiring a new car turned into sorrow within a month for a family as the vehicle was involved in an accident on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of four members and injuries to four others.

The incident took place in Andhra Pradesh's Palnadu district when the family was returning home after performing puja for the new vehicle in nearby Telangana.

The tragedy unfolded when the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), carrying eight individuals, crashed into a tree along the Addanki-Narketpalli highway near Bharmanapalli.

Authorities quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a medical facility. The deceased were also taken to a government hospital for autopsy procedures.

The victims were identified as T. Suresh, Vanita, Yogulu, and Venkateswarlu, all hailing from Siripura in the Kavali mandal of Potti Sriramulu Nellore district.

The injured include U. Pranay, Adilakshmi, Srinivas Rao, and Kaushalya, who were admitted to a government hospital in Piduguralla.

Authorities suspect that the driver may have dozed off at the wheel, leading to this unfortunate incident.

All were returning from the Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple in the Jagtial district of Telangana after conducting puja and various rituals for their new vehicle.

The District Superintendent of Police, K. Srinivasa Rao, inspected the accident site and stated that the driver was likely speeding and fell asleep, which resulted in the collision. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.

In a separate incident in Palnadu district, a woman was discovered murdered on the outskirts of Sattenapalli town.

The victim has been identified as T. Ramadevi, a resident of Ranga colony in the town. Her body was located in agricultural fields on Sunday.

Authorities believe that the murder may have been motivated by extramarital relations. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.
