“In addition to science-focused education, students should be inspired to cultivate creativity and engage with the nation's rich culture,” the Chief Minister remarked during the launch of personalized adaptive learning labs in 210 government schools throughout the state, which took place at Maharani Tulsibati Higher Secondary Girls’ School in Agartala.
Quoting Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister stated that genuine education focuses on unlocking students' inner potential and reaching academic excellence. He noted that the state government has implemented a personalized adaptive learning system to engage students with education via modern technology.
This initiative is anticipated to benefit approximately 64,000 students.
Describing this as a significant advancement in enhancing educational quality in Tripura, Saha mentioned the government's efforts to bolster science-based education while also creating new colleges and universities to broaden access to high-quality higher education.
“Our goal is to transform Tripura into an education hub,” he added. The Chief Minister also discussed measures taken to alleviate academic pressure on students and foster a healthy learning environment in schools.
Additionally, he indicated that efforts are underway to modernize the educational framework in tribal regions. Highlighting various ongoing programs, Saha referred to initiatives like Super 30, Nipun Tripura, Vidya Setu Module, Mission Mukul, and Saharsh Karyam, among others.
Expressing optimism that the new system would greatly assist students, the Chief Minister stated that the personalized adaptive learning platform would help pinpoint individual learning needs and enhance academic performance.
Present at the event were key figures including Milind Ramteke, Secretary of the School Education Department, Director N. C. Sharma, SCERT Director L. Darlong, and Principal of Maharani Tulsibati Girls’ School, Sarbani Das.
