Key Takeaways
Agartala/Imphal, Feb 6 (NationPress) The ninth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, a nationwide interaction led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with students, took place across the country on Friday, showcasing vibrant participation from students and educators in the northeastern regions, particularly Tripura and Manipur.
In Agartala, Tripura’s Chief Minister Manik Saha was present at Bordowali School, where students gathered to gain insights on exam confidence and effective time management.
Speaking to the media, the CM remarked, “During his address to students nationwide, PM Modi emphasized that while dreaming is crucial, those dreams gain significance only when acted upon. He encouraged students to utilize Artificial Intelligence as a tool for learning yet warned against excessive reliance on it.”
Focusing on confidence, concentration, and time management, the Prime Minister provided practical advice to help students maintain composure during exams while also guiding teachers and parents on alleviating academic pressures.
Active engagement was also noted in Manipur, where schools from all 16 districts participated, uniting students and educators to connect with the Prime Minister’s messages surrounding exams, stress management, and aspirations.
Additional Director of Education, MCS Bisheshwar Khumukcham, stated that the event saw comprehensive involvement throughout Manipur, with every school hosting the program and students participating enthusiastically. “Every student and teacher took part in the program. Throughout the 16 districts in Manipur, all schools hosted the event with universal student participation,” he noted.
Students in Imphal described the experience as both inspiring and insightful. One student shared that the Prime Minister’s advice on exam preparation prompted them to reconsider their study methods. “When he addressed exam preparation and responded to student inquiries, it allowed me to reflect seriously on my exams. One particularly memorable statement was when he said, ‘If one is not dreaming, it’s a crime,’” the student expressed.
Another student emphasized the importance of perceiving exams as opportunities rather than burdens. “This program provided me with numerous ideas. The key takeaway is that exams should not be seen as stress or tension, but as a chance for personal growth and self-reliance,” they stated.
A student expressed pride in attending the event, noting it infused excitement and confidence among peers. “I felt incredibly happy and excited because this program was held at our school. It’s a significant honor. PM mentioned that exams should be celebrated like a festival,” they added.
“We often forget even the answers we’ve memorized due to stress and anxiety,” the student continued, mentioning that the Prime Minister’s advice on exam preparation was particularly beneficial.
‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ aims to alleviate exam-related stress for students, parents, and educators, fostering a positive and confident outlook towards learning and assessments.
