Agartala, Aug 7 (NationPress) As part of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, Tripura's Agriculture and Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath officially presented the national flag to the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday.
Nath, who is the second-in-command in the Tripura Cabinet after Chief Minister Manik Saha, visited the 104th Battalion of the BSF stationed in the bordering area of Mohanpur in the west Tripura district.
During this heartfelt event, the Minister celebrated the spirit of patriotism with the BSF troops, honoring their unwavering commitment to the nation by handing over the tricolour to the brave individuals who protect our international borders amidst numerous challenges and risks.
In his address to the BSF personnel, Nath characterized the Indian national flag as more than just a symbol, referring to it as “a reflection of our hope, blood, and history.”
He praised the silent valor and steadfast sacrifice of the BSF jawans, whose dedication fills every Indian with pride.
