During the Assembly's Budget session, the Chief Minister expressed appreciation to Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu for his comprehensive address, which underscored the state’s accomplishments, ongoing welfare projects, and future plans.

The Budget session commenced on March 13, marked by the Governor's traditional address to the House, and is scheduled to conclude on March 25.

Saha noted that the Governor's remarks showcased confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a 'Viksit Bharat 2047', asserting that Tripura's development strategy is in sync with this national aspiration.

He stressed that the advancement of India is intrinsically linked to the development of each individual state.

In terms of economic performance, the Chief Minister revealed that Tripura's growth rate has surged to approximately 10-11 percent, significantly surpassing the national average of 7.4 percent.

He highlighted that the state has experienced accelerated development since 2018, propelled by collaborative efforts from every segment of society.
