Hyderabad, Sep 29 (NationPress) More than 700 influential policy makers, innovative startups, and industry pioneers convened for the ‘Aadhaar Samvaad’ on Monday to exchange ideas aimed at further enhancing service delivery through the unique digital ID, as per an official statement.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) organized this comprehensive stakeholders conference in collaboration with ecosystem partners, the official noted.
During the event, S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), emphasized how Aadhaar serves as the foundational element of India’s Digital Public Infrastructure, enabling numerous services to be built upon it.
He highlighted that the Aadhaar database is one of the most secure, and praised the quality and convenience it offers.
Krishnan urged UIDAI to broaden its innovations and applications while keeping the convenience of citizens at the forefront.
Neelkanth Mishra, Chairperson of UIDAI, discussed the importance of deepening engagement with stakeholders, stressing that continued innovation from UIDAI will lead to emerging use cases in the near future.
Bhuvnesh Kumar, CEO of UIDAI, remarked that Aadhaar is not merely a 12-digit unique identification system, but a journey towards empowerment, accessibility, and trust.
He asserted that Aadhaar will remain pivotal in shaping India’s digital landscape, providing residents with easy access to services, promoting digital inclusion, and enhancing governance across sectors such as healthcare, education, social welfare, and entrepreneurship.
This particular edition of Aadhaar Samvaad is especially significant as it aligns with the 16th Foundation Day of Aadhaar. Over time, Aadhaar has evolved from a unique digital ID initiative to the cornerstone of India’s inclusive development narrative, empowering residents, facilitating efficient service delivery, and fostering innovation across various sectors.
The event also featured the launch of Aadhaar MyStamp and a special cover by the Postmaster General of Telangana Circle to celebrate the 16th Aadhaar Day.
Moreover, UIDAI introduced its Aadhaar Brand Manual, which establishes clear branding standards across digital platforms, documents, boards, conferences, exhibitions, and other public interfaces, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and recognition in all forms of communication.
