New Delhi, Feb 23 (NationPress) BJP leader Yogi Adityanath has made history by becoming the first Chief Minister to make multiple visits to the Maha Kumbh festival in Prayagraj. His numerous visits have established a new benchmark, as no other Chief Minister has attended this grand religious event as frequently.

CM Adityanath is scheduled to visit the Maha Kumbh again on Sunday. His helicopter is expected to arrive in Arail at around 2:30 p.m., after which he will proceed to the Sattua Baba camp in Sector 21.

At about 3:15 p.m., CM Adityanath will visit the Shri Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth camp to meet Shankaracharya Vijayendra Saraswati. Following a 45-minute discussion, he will return to Arail by 4 p.m. and then head back to Lucknow.

During the festival, the Chief Minister has taken part in various significant activities.

On January 9, he visited 13 akhadas, including Dandibada, Khak Chowk, and Yogi Mahasabha camps. That same day, he inaugurated the Digital Media Centre.

The next day, he launched Prasar Bharati's Kumbhwani channel and flagged off buses for the state transport corporation. Throughout the month, he has continued his visits, meeting with spiritual leaders such as Shankaracharya and saints, inaugurating various exhibitions, and even participating in a cabinet meeting on January 22.

He has also visited multiple camps, including the Akhil Bhartiya Yogi Mahasabha and the Guru Gorakhnath Akhada, and has attended events organized by the Vishva Hindu Parishad and the Bhartiya Seva Ashram.

CM Adityanath has welcomed numerous dignitaries, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and interacted with diplomats from 73 countries during his time at the Maha Kumbh.
