Lakhimpur Kheri (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 22 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, is set to visit Lakhimpur Kheri this Saturday to lay the foundation stones for the Shiv Mandir Corridor in Gola Gokarnath and a bioplastic plant at Kumbhi Sugar Mill.

In addition, he will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for a total of 371 projects valued at Rs 1,622 crore, which will enhance vital infrastructure such as medical colleges, roads, overbridges, flyovers, and hospitals.

As per the official itinerary, CM Yogi is scheduled to arrive in Gola at 10:30 am, where he will conduct a Bhoomi Pujan for the Shiv Mandir Corridor and the PLA Plant at Kumbhi Sugar Mill.

His helicopter will initially land at the helipad of Balrampur Sugar Mill at 9:30 am, where he will carry out the Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone for the bioplastic plant from 9:35 am to 10:15 am. Subsequently, he will head to Gola at 10:20 am, landing at the helipad of Rajendra Giri Stadium at 10:30 am.

At 10:35 am, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Shiv Mandir Corridor and offer his prayers at the temple. Following this, he will address a public meeting at the grounds of Public Inter College from 10:55 am to 11:35 am.

He will then move on to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several government projects before his departure at 11:40 am. Security measures have been intensified across both sites.

The district administration has ensured that all essential preparations for the Chief Minister's visit are completed for the seamless execution of the events.

Upon arrival at the stadium, the Chief Minister's convoy will navigate through the junior department of Public Inter College, Lakhimpur Road near Nanak Chowki, and reach the corridor via Cinema Road.

The Gola Gokarnath Corridor will be expanded over an area of 19,524.670 square metres at an estimated investment of Rs 96 crore. It will have three entry gates for temple access. The main gate, located near Angad Dharamshala, will provide direct access to the temple, with parking facilities positioned on the south side of the main road.

The second gate will be established near Tirtha Sarovar, while the third will serve as the entrance to the Shiva temple. Furthermore, an 8-metre-wide road extending from the west side towards Neelkanth Maidan will be upgraded for VIP entry.

On another note, the bioplastic plant at Kumbhi Sugar Mill is anticipated to commence operations by 2026. This facility will manufacture biopolymers from sugarcane serum, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastic dona pattal, cups, and glasses.
